Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find some of our frequently asked questions. Hopefully this helps with some of your questions that may need answered sooner rather than later.
- Are you pet friendly?
Yes! Your pet is apart of the family. We do not require a pet deposit. Now, there is a $25 pet fee added to your rent per pet. Pets are defined by us as a dog or a cat.
- Will I receive confirmation of my rental application being submitted?
Yes! You should receive email confirmation of your submitted rental application. If you do not, reach out to us and we will verify if we received it.
- I don't have a Co-Applicant, do I need to fill out those sections?
We advise that you do. In the Co-Applicant sections on the application there are still required sections that need to be filled out. If you don't have a Co-Applicant, just type N/A or none in that area.
- I keep getting an error message when I try to submit the rental application, is the form not working?
The form is working and we test it a lot to make sure there are no errors. Main reason for the error is one of the required sections isn't filled out. Review all sections of the application before submitting and that should fix the issue.
- How long does it take my rental application to be considered qualified?
Generally you should have a response about the status of your rental application in 5-7 business days. You will receive an email from us letting you know if your application is qualified.
- My application is qualified, when will I know about a rental?
When a rental becomes available, we will reach out to you. We look at all qualified applications first and determine if you are still interested in a property. Once, we know this we set up a time to meet and view the rental.
- What are the next steps after the application?
Once your application is qualified and we contact you about a rental, we set up a time and view the available rental. If interested in the property we will have you provide proof of income by submitting your paystubs or submitting your proof of income. Once that is done, the property goes into "Pending" state. Once paystubs / proof of income is verified, we go over the rental contract and all other paperwork. Once those are went over and signed by Pitties Properties and the tenant, keys are handed over and you can move in!
- Are you currently buying more properties?
At the present time, no but we hope to in the future.
